HumanMilk Workflow
Mother brings expressed milk, a label with a barcode is created and affixed to the bottle.
Nurse places the milk bottle into a refrigerator.
Prep Room: Nurse takes bottle out of the fridge and scans the barcode to display specifics on the baby. Specific prep is then prepared from adding fortifier or a split bottle, and a new label is created and affixed.
Nurse scans the milk bottle and the baby’s wristband to confirm a match.
Once the milk bottle matches the baby’s wristband, the nurse can then give the milk to the baby.
